How real does it really look? Remember, no picture, design, or cloak is going to pass the "visual test" if you're standing directly in front of it. Even our Gun Safe Cloak, which is graphically designed to be 3D, is clearly a cloak if you're standing right in front of it. The objective of a cloak is to create a façade and have your safe disappear or fade into the background. If you look at this picture of my office, the picture was taken from only ten feet away. If you were not on this website and did not know we were talking about cloaks, you likely would not see a safe with a cloak. You would simply see a bookshelf!
Does the cloak wrap around the entire safe? No. The cloak is designed to cover the front of the safe. Several additional inches of fabric wrap around the sides and top of the safe, attached by magnets.
How does it connect to the safe? The cloak is held in place with a number of magnets. These magnets are included with your order.
Can I open the door of my safe with the Cloak on it? No, but it only takes five seconds to sweep the cloak off the front. You remove the magnets from one of the corners and sides and simply sweep the cloak on top of the door as you open it. Does the turret, handle, or dial impact how the cloak lays on the safe? The Cloak drapes over the front of the safe. The turret, handle, and dial will impact how the cloak drapes... just like any cover. Our cloaks do not defy the law of physics. But, you can use the magnets to stretch it where it's less noticeable. If you really want to be creative, simply put a small board on top of the safe, overhanging by an inch, and the cloak will lay perfectly flat. The Cloak's material, and depending on the design (the bookshelf cloak is excellent for this), will make the bumps from the handle or dial pretty much disappear.
What type of fabric do you use? The fabric is lightweight, machine-washable, and crease-free polyester. Our Cloaks are highly durable and tightly woven to cut down on light reflection. This is the same fabric used by companies for booths and table drapes at conferences and trade shows.
What is the ordering process? We are not Amazon. We are a family-owned business. It takes one to two weeks from order to delivery.
Can you create custom designs? Yes! Whether you have a YouTube channel or you have a specific motif or logo, we can create any cloak design. If you're simply looking for a cloak with your company, channel, or other logo or crest, we will add your logo into a custom design. Important notes on customized cloaks: - All customized cloaks include one (1) iteration for graphical mock-up and design and one (1) subsequent iteration for changes. - Customization and graphical design do not include logo development. - Custom cloaks range in cost from $500 to $750, depending on level of effort. - Want a custom cloak, contact us.
